Our Story
Amanda’s career began in the 90s as a makeup artist for photo shoots, fashion shows, and celebrities. She quickly noticed that models looked better with a subtle tan, as it accentuated their sculpted bodies and bone structure. Amanda started experimenting with formulas to replicate a sun-kissed glow before shoots.
Her homemade concoctions became a backstage staple for giving models a natural bronzed look. As word spread, celebrities started asking Amanda for her special tanning formulas to use at home. She began making custom tanning products for A-list clientele like Gwyneth Paltrow, Sienna Miller, and Kate Moss.
Amanda perfected her tanning technique into a simple, 3-step system that delivered salon-quality results. After seeing the confidence boost it gave people, she knew she had to share it with the world. In 2017, Amanda Harrington® was born.
